 Leanne and Laurie are from Inuvik, Northwest Territories - Place of Man. Where is Inuvik? Canadian Western Arctic, near the Yukon border and the Arctic Ocean.

This is Lea's freshman effort co-writing and recording. Lea has spent the last few years as front woman of their band, stunning audiences and packin'em in with her powerhouse voice and energetic performances. Laurie is originally from New Brunswick, and has spent over half his life in the north. His first album 'Delta Flood' was released in 2000. He is an all around song-writer, guitarist, bassist, & drummer.

Their music reflects their lives in Canada's North. Long nights spent in darkness and days with no light. The inspiration and motivation is every day living, love of home land, the people, the culture - the messages are universal.

The music is a reflection of the essence of the MacKenzie Valley, the mountains, the music of their home. Northern Soul.
