About Leanne

Leanne Goose is a showstopper. Her powerful voice & energy are apparent. Leanne is well known in the North for her strong voice & diversity. Whether singing country standards, blues, to rock & pop, she owns the room. Leanne has a reputation of making each song all her own.

Leanne began singing at the age of 13 & comes from a family of musicians. Leanne started out traveling with her father's band, developing her style & building her audience. Her father, Louie has maintained his position as one of the North's finest performers with a career spanning over 40 years & still going strong.

She has come along way through hard work, & mentoring. Leanne was born and raised in Inuvik, Northwest Territories.  Her family & traditional life experiences traveling the Mackenzie River Valley to Arctic Coast of the Yukon & NWT fuels her passion for music.

This is a series of firsts for Leanne; song writing, front (wo)man for her first band, learning the recording process. Leanne just finished recording her debut CD set for release in 2007.

Keep your eyes on the horizon for Leanne Goose.
